Booking, Payments & Security — FAQ

  • Deposits are only required for Cosmetic Tattoo appointments (including Ombré, Powder, Combo Brows and Brow Consultations).

    All other beauty services can be booked without a deposit.

  • No — cosmetic tattoo deposits are non-refundable, however they are transferable if you reschedule your appointment at least 72 hours in advance.

    Your deposit is deducted from your total on the day of your appointment.

  • Cosmetic tattoo appointments require extended time, preparation and blocked studio availability.
    Deposits ensure that bookings are secured by clients who are genuinely ready for treatment and help prevent no-shows.

  • For Cosmetic Tattoo appointments:
    • Cancellations within 24 hours or failure to attend will result in the full service fee being charged

    For all services:
    We ask for at least 72 hours’ notice to reschedule without penalty, subject to availability.

  • Yes — appointments can be rescheduled up to 72 hours before your booking without penalty.

    All changes must be made through our online booking system.

  • If you are more than 10 minutes late, your appointment will need to be rescheduled and the full service charge may apply, as your allocated time cannot be guaranteed.

  • No. Defined by Grace does not store or see your full credit card details at any time.

    All card details are securely processed and stored by Stripe, one of the world’s leading payment providers.

  • Your card is used to:
    • Secure your appointment
    • Apply cancellation or no-show fees if required
    • Speed up checkout on the day

    This helps protect our business from late cancellations and no-shows.

  • Yes. We use Stripe, which is certified to PCI DSS Level 1 — the highest global security standard for online payments.

    Timely does not store your full card number. Stripe securely holds it and provides encrypted tokens for processing payments.

  • No. We never have access to your full card details.
    We only see a secure payment token and the last four digits of your card for reference.

  • If we ever need to modify or cancel your appointment due to unforeseen circumstances, we will contact you and reschedule you at the earliest possible time.
